Abstract
In order to test battery plate packs (), the battery plate packs are transported between conveyor belts () while compressed to a specified thickness, and the force required for the compression is detected by measuring cells () while the battery plate packs are being transported, which measuring cells are associated with a pressing plate () associated with one of the conveyor belts (). If the force deviates from a specified value, the battery plate pack is evaluated as faulty and is ejected.
