Abstract
The present invention is directed to an aqueous suspension and/or aqueous dispersion of calcium carbonate obtained by the process of manufacturing a calcium carbonate-containing slurry prepared by addition of one or more zirconium compounds, wherein the aqueous suspension and/or aqueous dispersion of calcium carbonate consists essentially of calcium carbonate, water, one or more zirconium compounds and optionally, one or more phosphate-free additives acting as dispersion and/or grinding aid agents.
