Abstract
The invention relates to a growth container () comprising: a receptacle () with a bottom part () having a plant receiving area (), and a light source () for providing light to the plant receiving area (). In order to obtain conditions optimal for growth, the light source () is elongated and arranged centrally in the plant receiving area () for being surrounded by plants () in the plant receiving area, and for producing light () to the growth container () at a plurality of different heights (h) above the bottom part.
