Abstract

In a connector (), a substantially L-shaped terminal fitting () is mounted in a connector housing (). The terminal fitting () includes a first projecting portion () projecting backward from a back wall () of a receptacle () and a second projecting portion () bent downward substantially at a right angle from an end of the first projecting portion () and to be connected to a circuit board (). The connector housing () is integrally formed with a protection wall () extending backward from the back wall () of the receptacle () and configured to cover the first and second projecting portions () from an upper side, opposite lateral sides and a rear side with clearances formed between the protection wall () and both the first and second projecting portions ().
