Abstract
A cylindrical honeycomb structurehas a partition wallforming A channelsand B channels. The A channelsare open at a first end surfaceand closed at a second end surface. The B channelsare closed at the first end surfaceand open at the second end surface. The B channelsinclude a first B channeland a second B channelextending substantially in parallel to each other. The A channelsinclude first A channels, which surround the first B channel at the first end surface, and second A channels, which surround the second B channel at the first end surface.
