Abstract

A display device includes: a display unit () that displays information; a touch panel unit () that is disposed on the display unit () and that detects contact manipulations; a tactile sensation presentation unit () that presents tactile sensations via the touch panel unit (); an input assessment unit () that, on the basis of the conditions that have been set with respect to contact manipulations, determines the display of the display unit () and the operation of the tactile sensation presentation unit () in accordance with the contact manipulation that was detected on the touch panel (); and a CPU () that, on the basis of the determination in the input assessment unit (), controls the display of the display unit () and the operation of the tactile sensation presentation unit ().
