Abstract

The invention provides a method for the prophylaxis, improvement, or treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, and psoriasis by administering to a subject an effective amount of an isolated anti-human CD81 antibody capable of binding to a peptide region consisting of the amino acid sequence of amino acid numbers 80 to 175 of SEQ ID NO:22.
