Abstract
An aspect of the present invention relates to optical glass, wherein, in a glass composition based on oxides, a content of POis in the range of 20˜34 weight %; a content of BOis over 0 weight % but 10 weight % or less; a weight ratio (BO/PO) is over 0 but less than 0.39; a weight ratio [TiO/(TiO+NbO+WO+BiO+TaO)] is in the range of 0.059˜0.180; and a weight ratio [(PO+BO+SiO)/(NaO+KO+LiO)] is in the range of 1.39˜1.80, the optical glass having a refractive index nd of 1.78˜1.83, and an Abbe's number vd of 20˜25.
