Abstract
A cutting chain () moving in a cutting direction () is disclosed in the present invention. The cutting chain () includes a cutting link (), which further includes a cutting portion (), a depth gauge () and a space () between the cutting portion () and the depth gauge (). The cutting chain () further includes a bumper drive link () which is pivotally connected to the cutting link () and immediately precedes the cutting link () in the cutting direction (). The bumper drive link () further includes a tail () and a body (). The tail () of the bumper drive link () further includes a bent portion () and a straight portion (). Further, the bent portion () is oriented in a substantially perpendicular direction relative to a plane (P) of the body () of the bumper drive link (). Moreover, the bent portion () of the tail () extends into the space () between the cutting portion () and the depth gauge () of the cutting link ().
