Abstract

A light-emitting device () includes a housing () including a light-transmitting section (), a surface light-emitting element () including a rectangular light-emitting section (R) facing the light-transmitting section () and a non-light-emitting section formed outside the light-emitting section (R), and an electronic device (). The non-light-emitting section includes a flexible outer edge section (R) provided with an electrode on a surface. The outer edge section (R) is bent in a direction away from a light-emitting surface (S) of the light-emitting section (R) together with the electrode. The electrode electrically connects the light-emitting section (R) and the electronic device ().
