Abstract

To support a non-display setting for each piece of data corresponding to a display item, and to easily allow the user to recognize the existence of data set to a secret setting, the input device () according to the present invention includes a touch sensor () that detects contact, a display unit (), a tactile sensation providing unit () that provides a tactile sensation to a contacting object in contact with the touch sensor (), and a control unit () that controls the tactile sensation providing unit () to provide the tactile sensation to the contacting object in contact with the touch sensor () when, for a display item being displayed on the display unit (), data set to the non-display setting exists in correspondence with the display item.
