Abstract

A heddle () is provided for weaving strip-shaped warp yarn. Said heddle () includes a heddle shaft () formed by two shaft parts (). Said shaft parts () are placed on top of each other in a respective end section () of the heddle shaft () and interconnected. The end eyelets () of the heddle () are also in said end section (). To form a yarn eye between both shaft parts (), two separate warp yarn guiding bodies () are placed therebetween. To determine the position of the warp yarn guiding body () with respect to the heddle shaft (), at least one shaft projection () is produced by stamping and subsequent bending or embossing each shaft part () for each warp yarn guiding body (). Said shaft projection () engages in an associated recess () of the warp yarn guiding body (), and a bonding connection is produced.
