Abstract
A cartridgeis provided with an ink pack, an air bagcapable of abutting the ink pack, and a pressurizing chamberthat stores the ink packand the air bag. In the case where the amount of ink in the ink packdecreases, pressurized air is introduced into the air bag, the ink packis pressed against the air bag, and thereby the internal pressure of the ink packis increased. After that, pressurized air is introduced into the pressurizing chamberso as to increase the internal pressure of the pressurizing chamberand pressurize the ink packfrom outside.
