Abstract
An aqueous ink contains a colorant, an aqueous solvent, and as an infrared absorber, a compound represented by general formula (I): where R, R, and Rare each independently alkyl, and Ris a group represented by general formula (I-R): where Ris hydrogen or methyl, and e is an integer of 0 to 3.
