Abstract
One embodiment provides an apparatus, including: at least one hot-swappable component; at least one engagement device, wherein the engagement device selectively operates to prevent removal of a non-failed hot-swappable component from a carrier; and a detector; the detector detecting at least one failed hot-swappable component.
