The present invention relates to a new and distinctive canola, designated CE185942R. Also included are seeds of canola CE185942R, to the plants, or plant parts, of canola CE185942R and to methods for producing a canola plant produced by crossing the canola CE185942R with itself or another canola genotype, and the creation of variants by mutagenesis or transformation of canola CE185942R.
