Abstract

A method for providing a descriptor of a location to a recipient includes receiving location data of the location from a user and using the location data to identify one or more regions near or including the location. Each region is associated with a descriptor. The recipient's interaction with each of the regions is indicated and it is provided for at least one region to be selected based on the recipient's interaction with the selected region. The descriptor associated with the selected region is provided to the recipient.
