Abstract
This invention provides processes for preparation of 3-alkyl indoles of Formula 1: wherein A, Aand Aare independently selected from the group consisting of: H, X, OR, CN, CONRand C0R; Ris C-Calkyl; Ris H or C-Calkyl; Ris C-Calkyl; LG is a leaving group; X is a halogen; and n is 1, 2 or 3.
