Abstract
Disclosed is a method of setting an interface in a communication modem supporting a plurality of interfaces. The method includes determining a first mode in which an interface to the device is set in advance when it is detected to receive a signal from a device connected to the communication modem. The method also includes waiting for a reception of data after integrated pins belonging to the communication modem is set to correspond to the first mode. The method also includes determining a change of the first mode according to a result of receiving the data for a predetermined time.
