A color-forming composition contains (A) a radical generator, (B) a compound represented by the following formula (1) and (C) a binder polymer: wherein, in the formula (1), Rrepresents a group which reacts with a radical generated from the radical generator (A) to be released and forms a dye after the release, and T represents a nitrogen-containing hetero ring.
