Abstract

A method for controlling an information processing apparatus including a CPU that executes an application relevant to communication other than baseband processing, the method including controlling a variation in an operating frequency of the CPU, determining, using a processor, whether an amount of traffic per unit time of a wireless link changes after the variation in the operating frequency, and setting an operating frequency of the CPU based on a result of the determining whether an amount of traffic per unit time changes.
