Abstract
Therefore, what has been described is an improved for visually implementing a web page layout, where the web page layout includes a nested drop zone. Allowing the user to interactively implement nested drop zones provides numerous benefits, including the benefit of being able to create specialized layout configurations for a web page without requiring the need for expert programmers to write computer code for the new configuration. This permits the user to implement highly customized layout in a very easy and efficient way. In addition, an improved approach has been described to implement a new type of widget that obtains its context information from another widget. For example, when a contextual widget is dropped into a drop zone, that contextual widget would obtain its context data from its parent drop zone widget.
