Abstract
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a polymeric dispersant for a liquid developer, which is obtained by copolymerizing at least an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having an amino group, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having an alkyl group with a carbon number of 9 to 24, and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer represented by general formula (1) shown below:CH═C(R)COO(AO)R  General formula (1)wherein, Rrepresents H or CH, Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having a carbon number of 1 to 22, n represents an integer of 1 to 200, and A represents an alkylene group having a carbon number of 2 to 4.
