Abstract

Method for determining a progressive ophthalmic lens wherein: a first or a second reference axes (Γ, Γ) are determined, the first reference axis being set to a value comprised between [γ−20°, γ+20°] with γbeing the average axis of astigmatism over a first temporal portion, and the second reference axis being set to a value comprised between [γ−20°, γ+20°] with γbeing the average axis of astigmatism over a second nasal portion; over the first portion, the sphere value along the first reference axis is superior to the sphere value along a perpendicular axis to the first reference axis (SPH(Γ))>SPH(⊥Γ)); or over the second portion, the sphere value along the second reference axis is superior to the sphere value along a perpendicular axis to the second reference axis ((SPH(Γ))>(SPH(⊥Γ)).
