Abstract

A control device () of an electric sealed compressor of the present invention comprises a power converter () which supplies electric power to an electric motor () of the electric sealed compressor; a driving circuit () which drives the power converter (); abnormality detector () which detects abnormality in an abnormality detection region including the power converter () and the driving circuit (); a controller () configured to output a control signal for driving the power converter to the driving circuit () and stop outputting the control signal in response to a signal (Fo signal) output from the abnormality detector (), the signal indicating that the abnormality has been detected; and an auxiliary protection circuit () configured to deactivate the driving circuit () in response to the signal output from the abnormality detector (), the signal indicating that the abnormality has been detected.
