Abstract
A method of configuring communications management on board an aircraft comprising the implementation of a mechanism for electing a master equipment item in a network of computer equipment items in charge of aircraft-ground communications of the aircraft and of configuring communication management according to the master equipment item. The method enables the applications in charge of the aircraft-ground communications to be distributed between the networked computer equipment items.
