Abstract
The invention relates to a method for operating an electronic terminal (-) comprising an integrated image sensor (-) that has a large number of pixels, in particular for a mobile telephone. According to the invention, a dosage value of ionizing radiation striking the image sensor is determined by means of the image sensor (-). The invention further relates to a terminal that operates accordingly (e.g. a smart phone having a corresponding application program).
