Abstract
A method () for a controlling node of a cell () in a cellular system, the method comprising () the use of Radio Link Control Acknowledged Mode, RLC AM, and scheduling () transmissions in the downlink and uplink directions to/from User Equipments, UEs (), in the cell (). The scheduling comprises taking into account a priority which each UE has for its transmissions, and counting () the number of scheduled transmissions for a UE in a first of said directions since its latest scheduled transmission in the other of said directions. If () the count has reached a predetermined value, the priority of the UE in the other of said directions is increased (), and when () the UE has been scheduled for a transmission in said other direction, the counting in said first direction is restarted () from an initial value.
