Abstract
A method () and user equipment () that are for operation in a wireless communication system () maintain system state synchronization between a fixed network () of the wireless communication system and the user equipment by performing a receipt () of a message from a network station () while the user equipment is in a connected state (); a determination () that the message includes an address of the user equipment and that the message is a message that should not be generated while the fixed network has the user equipment logged as being in the connected state; and a switching () of the user equipment to an idle state ().
