Abstract
The number of turns and the winding direction of a cosine-phase coil wound around an i-th tooth and the number of turns and the winding direction of a sine-phase coil wound around the i-th tooth are set according to T=Tcos(mξ+θ)+Tcos(mξ+θ) and T=Tsin(mξ+θ)+Tcos(mξ+θ), respectively, where T: a first reference number of turns of each of the detecting coils of each phase, T: a second reference number of turns of each of the cosine-phase coils, T: a second reference number of turns of each of the sine-phase coils, m: a pole pair number in a magnetic flux distribution formed by the exciting coils, m: a pole pair number in each magnetic flux distribution formed by the detecting coils of each phase, θ: the phase of the exciting coils, θ: each phase of the cosine-phase coils and the sine-phase coils, and ξ: a mechanical angle of the i-th tooth.
