Abstract
An exhaust-gas turbocharger () having a compressor (); a turbine () which has a turbine wheel () with a radial flow region () and a semi-axial flow region () and which has a turbine housing () which has a spiral arrangement (), surrounding the turbine wheel () at its outer circumference (), for supplied exhaust gas; and a guide grate () for supplying exhaust gas to the turbine wheel (). The guide grate () has a guide ring (), which is axially movable in the charger axial direction (L) and is assigned to the radial flow region (), and a closure sleeve (), which is axially movable in the charger axial direction (L) and which is assigned to the semi-axial flow region ().
