Abstract
The invention relates to a spacer () to be sandwiched between first and second glass sheets () of a vacuum glazing panel, such as to maintain a first space between the glass sheets, which space forms a first cavity () under a vacuum of less than 1 mbar, a sealing joint () being positioned on the periphery of the glass sheets enclosing the first cavity. According to the invention, one such spacer () comprises cold-worked austenitic stainless steel.
