Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing a refined extract ofcomprising a mixture of madecassoside and terminoloside. The method comprises: passage over adsorbent resin; elution with an eluent comprising at least 30 wt. % of an alcoholic solvent; and a recrystallization step using a mixture of solvents, comprising water and an alcoholic solvent.
