Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for providing information in a cellular wireless communication system, comprising the steps of: detecting a radio link failure (RLF) for a mobile station while connected to a first cell; re-establishing the connection in a second cell; and providing information about said radio link failure (RLF) only to cells supporting the same radio access technology (RAT) as said first cell. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a method in a mobile station, a method in a base station, a computer program, a computer program product, a mobile station device and a base station device.
