Abstract
Anthracyclin compounds of the general structure: are disclosed. In these compounds Ris methyl, acetyl or hydroxyacetyl; R—Rand R—Rare independently H or methyl; RRand Rare independently H, OH or OCH; and n is zero or one. The compounds are useful for treating cancer.
