Abstract
To provide a jig for forming a sealant layer which enables to quickly and accurately form a sealant layer having a required film thickness. The jig includes: a sealant cupthat overlays a sealantaround a collar; a cup holderthat determines a position of the sealant cupwith respect to a fastener member; and a dummy cupthat determines a position of the cup holderwith respect to the fastener member. The cup holderis determined in position with respect to the fastener memberby being guided along the dummy cupdetermined in position with respect to the fastener member. The sealant cupis guided along a guide of the cup holderso as to overlay the sealantaround the collarafter removing the dummy cupfrom the cup holderdetermined in position with respect to the fastener member
