Abstract

[Object] To provide a pneumatic tire which is excellent in durability. [Solution] A tire has a large number of dimpleson sidewalls thereof. The contour of each dimpleis composed of a first circular arc, a second circular arc, a first connection line, and a second connection line. The curvature radius R2 of the second circular arcis larger than the curvature radius R1 of the first circular arc. The first connection lineis a straight line. The first connection lineconnects one endof the first circular arcto one endof the second circular arc. The second connection lineis a straight line. The second connection lineconnects the other endof the first circular arcto the other endof the second circular arc. Preferably, the length L of a longest line segment that can be drawn within the contour of each dimpleis larger than the sum of the curvature radius R1 of the first circular arcand the curvature radius R2 of the second circular arc
