Abstract
A centrifugal casting apparatus including: a lower half-mold () mounted on a support () provided with driver for rotation about a substantially vertical central axis (), the lower half-mold () being a solid of revolution having a first central cavity (); an upper half-mold () facing the lower half-mold (), the upper half-mold () being a solid of revolution having a second central cavity (); and a device for causing the axial movement of the half-molds () towards and away from each other. The lower half-mold () and the upper half-mold () each have at least one passage () which puts the respective central cavity () into communication with the outside through an outlet aperture through which the central axis () does not pass.
