Abstract
The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device including gate lines extending on a substrate; data lines crossing the gate lines to define a plurality of pixels; a thin film transistor in each pixel; and a liquid crystal capacitor in each pixel region, an electrode of the liquid crystal capacitor is connected to the thin film transistor, wherein the thin film transistors of a (a−1)th pixel and a (a)th pixel in a (b)th pixel column share a (a)th gate line, and the thin film transistors in a (a)th pixel and a (a+1)th pixel in a (b+1)th pixel column share a (b+1)th gate line, and wherein each of a and b is a positive integer.
