Abstract
A device and a method for machining workpieces () by means of a laser beam. Said device has a delivery means () for delivering the workpieces () to a first machining position () and a machining means () which has at least one machining head () for machining of a workpiece () delivered to the first machining position (). The delivery means () is a gripping robot with a gripping device (). At least one clamping means () is disposed in order to accommodate a workpiece () delivered by the delivery means (), wherein respective machining position is defined by each clamping means ().
