Abstract
A pigment for ink-jet recording contains a porous particle, a sealing agent, and an inorganic pigment layer containing an inorganic pigment. The sealing agent is arranged in a pore opening of the porous particle. The inorganic pigment layer is formed on the surface of the porous particle.
