Abstract

A fitting () for a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle seat, includes a first fitting part (), a second fitting part () that can be rotated relative to the first fitting part () about an axis (A), a drivable eccentric (), rotatably supported about the axis (A), and at least one catch (), which is guided by the first fitting part () such as to be movable in a radial direction relative to the axis (A) and which moves radially outward under the action of the eccentric () to lock the fitting () and interacts radially outwardly with the second fitting part (). The at least one catch () includes a first bar part () and a second bar part (), each of which has teeth (') for interacting with teeth of the second fitting part () designed as a toothed ring ().
