Abstract
The present invention includes drive unitsandthat change a relative position between a wire electrodeand a workpieceby moving a position of wire guideand, drive control unitsandthat drive the drive unitsandbased on a machining shape on the workpiece, respectively, a correction-amount storage unitthat previously stores therein a position correction amount for the wire electrodecorresponding to a machining condition, a correction-amount reading unitthat reads the position correction amount corresponding to the machining condition from the correction-amount storage unit, and a wire-position correction unitthat causes the drive control unitsandto correct a relative distance between the wire electrodeand the workpiecebased on the read position correction amount.
