Abstract
Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate transportation of a communication while providing consistent quality of service treatment of the communication throughout the transport of the communication from a client device to an upstream wide-area network, as well as for communications transported from a wide-area network to a client device. In embodiments, quality of service information associated with a communication can be translated at one or more various customer premise equipment devices and/or network components into a format that is compatible with an interface that is to be used to output the communication.
