Abstract

There is provided a secondary battery comprising: a positive electrode capable of intercalating and deintercalating a lithium ion; a negative electrode capable of intercalating and deintercalating a lithium ion; and an electrolytic solution, wherein the electrolytic solution comprises: a fluorine-containing cyclic ether compound represented by the following formula (1); and at least one selected from a fluorine-containing chain ether compound or a fluorine-containing phosphate ester compound; wherein Rto Rare each independently selected from a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, or a fluorine-substituted, chlorine-substituted, or unsubstituted alkyl group, and at least one of Rto Ris selected from a fluorine atom or a fluorine-substituted alkyl group.
