Abstract
A flexible display apparatus having a folding area and peripheral areas at sides of the folding area, the flexible display apparatus including: a flexible display panel configured to display an image; and an outer member on one surface of the flexible display panel and including a protrusion and an opening at the peripheral areas. The flexible display panel and the outer member are configured to be folded at the folding area, and the protrusion is inserted into the opening when the outer member is folded.
