Abstract

A zoom lens includes in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens unit having a positive refractive power, a second lens unit having a negative refractive power, a third lens unit having a positive refractive power, and a fourth lens unit. At a telephoto end, with respect to a wide angle end, a distance between the first lens unit and the second lens unit widens, and a distance between the second lens unit and the third lens unit narrows. At the time of zooming from the wide angle end to the telephoto end, a distance between the third lens unit and the fourth lens unit changes, and the zoom lens satisfies the following conditional expressions (1) and (2).1.1<<1.8  (1)−0.5<Δ<0.5  (2)
