Abstract
The present invention relates to a device for moving together and compressing two bone parts, consisting of: a) a plate () provided with a plurality of through-openings (); and b) a means () for moving said two bone parts together, including: a base (), suitable for being attached to said plate (), comprising at least one oblong through-opening (), at least one of the side edges () of which comprises a rack ('); and a control tool () including a head () provided with (i) an end rod () to be inserted into a hole made in said bone material and (ii) a pinion () for meshing with said rack (′) of the base (), such that rotating said head () about said stationary axis of rotation () causes the translation of said base () and of said associated plate () relative to said head (), so as to achieve the sought action of moving together and compressing.
