Abstract
Transparent or transparent dyed lithium aluminum silicate (LAS) glass ceramic material is provided that has an adapted thermal expansion. The material includes high-quartz mixed crystals as the predominant crystalline phase, and a thermal expansion between room temperature and 700° C. from 1.0 to 2.5·10/K.
