Abstract

A floor element for cargo containers and/or cargo pallets. The floor element comprises at least one RFID transponder, at least one bore with an opening on the floor underside, and a transponder holder device preferably made of plastic for holding the RFID transponder, wherein the transponder holder device is fixed in the bore. The floor element provides better communication between RFID transponders and corresponding readers.
